Rectangle lunch room pizza!

I just got a hold of part of a case of those rectangle pizzas from the school lunchroom we used to love so much… This is the real deal 100%. Tony's smart pizza same brand that we used to eat! I decided to videotape the first taste since probably middle school of those delicious rectangular pieces of manna pizza.

If those rectangular school pizzas were in fact the Tony's Smart Pizza, they cost roughly $100 for a case of 96 pizzas. I've been getting the rectangular Totino's Party Pizzas from Dollar General. They're not the very same, but very close.

Just picked up a 4 pack at some weird little grocery store yesterday. Haven't had these since graduating in 1994. Going to drink beer, watch championship games and knock out a couple tonight.

When I was in college in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the rectangular school lunch pizzas were sold individually wrapped in the vending machine in my dorm. A nice treat after studying late at night in the library.

i always talk about those pizzas! i just talked to my father about it lol because i'm eating a pb&j toasted and i was telling him how our school peanut butter was warm and so good lol i use to take the cheese off the pizza and eat the dough ans sauce then i eat the cheese after lol

lol! I'm glad that you called the pizza that was served in schools' cafeterias 'rectangular pizzas'! I hate when people call it 'square pizza', since the pizza is shaped like rectangles, not squares! :D <3

That was the one thing I looked forward too when going to school then as soon as I got in middle they took it away and served us the crappy triangle pizzas 🙄

The second you bit into that pizza, even *I* went back in time. I halfway expected 'Kidd Video' to come on. lol

Our school pizza was a little thicker and came in a weird quadrilateral shape sometimes. It was still some of the best pizza I've ever had.

Gordons food service has the closest thing to those pizzas as you will find anywhere, They only come by the case rectangle pizzas. 90 a case and they come in different toppings. Call your local

If you live in Eastern KY or near an IGA food store they sell them in the meat dept. for $1.89. They come on a foam tray wrapped in Saran wrap like the hamburger meat or other store packaged meats.
