1. She did not have to give up her glittering career. The Queen told her she could carry on if she wanted. She CHOSE not to, I wonder why.
2. She spent years trying to get noticed and papped so that was a dream come true for her.
3. The royal dress code is no different to any other job, including acting, you have to wear what is required for the job you are doing. Royals can dress how they want in their free time.
4. She was not forced to give up her friends and family. She managed to fly to New York for her baby shower and to see Williams play tennis. All other royals manage to keep their previous friendships intact.
