As someone with ADHD, I was blown away by this non-ADHD book that perfectly addresses our struggles with perfectionism, fear of starting, and rejection sensitivity. In this video, I break down "The Gap and the Gain" by Ben Hardy and Dan Sullivan, explaining why it should be required reading for anyone with ADHD who battles with measuring up to impossible standards.
Learn how to shift from focusing on what you haven't accomplished (the gap) to appreciating how far you've come (the gain). I share my personal success metrics and explain how this mindset shift can help ADHDers overcome perfectionism and finally start taking action. If you're tired of feeling like you're never doing enough, this perspective could be game-changing for your ADHD journey.

I was told at 2 i was adhd and then tested at 43. I think it was trauma and bullying and neglect by adults who were supposed to guide me in school and not shame me or reject me. I am convinced it is all trauma from abusive adults.❤

Why is success defined as money or creating a successful business or things that relate to economic success?

As we’ve seen from the ultra-wealthy, no amount is never enough. They make hundreds of millions, have millions or billions in the bank/investment portfolio so their never have to work, multiple homes, all of it, yet they still fight for lower tax rates to see the numbers increase on their financial statement? Frankly, I’d rather be less than wealthy, but still comfortable, and be able to sit on the couch with a glass of wine playing games on my phone to chill out when I want. Give me real goals to aim for.

No offense, but your vision of success sounds like a vision of perfect selfishness and self-centerdness...
"No obligations, only do what I want, when I want, with who I want"...

I have much these same urges and desires, as most people would, but I wouldnt define fulfilllng them as success.
