Forte upgrades definitely feel more worthwhile.

I think the weekly limitation is an issue only because it's a new game and we're building mutiple characters at once.
When we reach the point when we're building one character at a time this won't be an issue at all especially as you said you need 3 weeks of drops to max a character which is the exact amount of time between banners

Well said. In Genshin, it's diminishing returns after talent level 6, but talent level 8 is generally considered the stopping point (Or "good enough"). I'm still horizontally investing (building my roster) so it's going pretty fast. But it takes weeks to go from 8 to 10.

People are too harsh on wuthering waves, level 9 to 10 fortie upgrade actually gives the biggest multiplier increase, almost 57% added to the multiplier. The system is fine tbh

Literally the Forte and Liberation make a LOT OF DIFFERENT in damage, with Jinhsi I went from 200k to 400k

thank god wuwa didnt gate-keeper talent upgrade lv8-10
unlike genshit you need "crown" to upgrade lv8-10 F that system AND TERIBLLE RNG BOS DROP WONT DROP YOUR CHARACTER NEED

I don't think the weekly boss drops have any issue. It didn't stop my progress, but limited only a bit, forced me to organize how I farm, nothing else. I'm day 1 player UL62 with 3 characters and weapons at lvl 90, and 2 of them maxed out their skill, forte and liberation. This game is new yet, in a year we'll probably have some weekly boss materials that we'll never use in our bags

Now that people is starting to reach UL 60 in wuwa and they are wondering if getting the Forte from 8 to 10 is worth it.
It is very worth it, also welcome to poverty.

- 6 week to max out a genshin char
me in wuwa: 11 week since release and maxed out 1 char to 90 and 3 other char at lv80 8/10 (1 being rover) while also have 2 weapon at lv90 and 2 at 80 (yea they share the same material)

hit UL60 like 3-5 days ago... so future char could be much faster.
I'm not sure if the limit on weekly boss matter much, because at the current tower of adversity, i only need the main dps to be as high as possible. my buffer and support are only lv50 with basically no skill lvl

I consider WuWa skill system as succesfull mix of Genshin and Tower of Fantasy and i really like it

I also notice how big the jump of a damage multiplier upgrade of talent for certain character depending on their playstyle, like Sanhua Liberation multiplier jump each upgrade is sooo high . From level 1 to 8 is about 192% increase

So happy WuWa doesn't have crowns. Used to hoard them way too much

I definitely felt an Upgrade when leveling my Jinhsi's Forte Skill. I went from struggling to get all the stars of the Tower of Adversity, to getting all of them on the first try

Also for havoc rover for example upgrading their forte increases ur basic attacks and skills indirectly

What I also like is that some attacks despite being one type are counted like another type.

In wuwa Changli's forte explosion is considered resonance skill but the multiplier is in the forte. So it will get boosted by RS dmg bonus AND leveling up forte

In genshin for e.g Raiden N1 despite being basic attacks are considered burst, therefore you don't have to level her basics at all.

Fear of crowns? I cant get rid of them fast enogh. I picked up all of them in game with events and still gota get rid out of 3.

WuWa's higher talents are stacked. I want more boss drops per week though. At UL 59, I'm levelling Jiyan, Mortefi and Baizhi (my main team) and they all want bells from the Bell Bourne Geocochelone (big turtle boss). So, it feels really crappy when I only get 2 boss materials (bells) on a clear because now I just have to wait until next week just to do the talents for ONE character.

I'm hoping that UL 60 is better and I'm told it's a guarantee of 4 boss materials each time, which should make it go faster. because it's been over 2.5 months of WuWa and not having anyone at level 90 or level 10 talents yet is pretty demoralizing. It's actually why I am going to not pull for anyone in 1.2 or 1.3 (I hear Xiangli Yao is free) because I want to build all the characters I have, and I literally have them all and want to play them all... but building them, god damn, it's going to take all year at this rate.

**I know Void Enigma did a video on that point - it gets easier when we hit max level for boss drops, etc. I'm just saying 3 months to get to max level is a long time.

Addition for fair point for wuwa at UL 60 weekly boss drop are 12-15 pcs in average so. It just need 2 weeks.
And genshin at AR 60 well u know as u said it way more longer than that to maxed all skill tree for 1 char
