Finally Toydaria has a space station, it won't instantly fall to a random corvette again!

I think its important to get Home One first before we do anything else. That will give us time to build up in Hutt space and fortify, possibly hit and run a few battles but Home One is a priority!

Shack, you're losing 1000+ credits a week for every week you don't complete the Ace Azzameen Tydirium theft mission. It's not the most engaging mission that AotR has, but it's a lot of money, especially considering you could plop one of your governors there for even more money.

I see three options for the campaign
1: liberate Jabiim and the Wheel and push for the Siege of Mandalore
2: retake Scipio and begin the war against CorSec, so you can remove the threat from the north
3: take Manaan and launch the Kuat raid and possibly the liberation of Corellia

Captains Log:
Captain Rylan “Saber 1” Brask.
Alliance Fighter Squadron Lead [X-Wing Squadron Callsign Saber]

The Battle of Nal Hutta. A victory for the Rebellion but a costly one. As far as I know we still have forces on the ground clearing out the last few pockets of resistance. Hope Saul and the Fourth are all right. I heard it was messy down there. Saber Squadron didn’t see much action dueing the battle. We weren’t allowed to take off since The Liberations guns were to be used for orbital bombardments. Wouldn’t want a stray round knocking out a veteran squadron.

The Battle over Toydaria may be the only time I’ve seen the whole fleet come out of hyperspace together and oh man what a sight that was to behold. It's a shame Rogue Squadron had to sit this battle out. They had to help with cleanup on Nal Hutta. When we located the enemy, we were told to hold our position within the fleet. “Wait for them to come to us.” The Captain said. Well he was right, and they definitely paid for it. Their fleet didn’t stand a chance. Not to say our fleet wasn’t roughed up a bit but we’re still around to tell the tale aren't we? Saber Squadron was to lead the advance onto the space station as the fleet followed in behind. Once the main station was destroyed, it was time for the usual mop-up. With any remnants of the Hutts fleeing the system, Toydaria was ours once again.

With the Liberation of Gamorr, at least in orbit, the war for Hutt Space was all but over.

Nothing else to note for Saber Squadron. Hope the Rogue Squadron and Saul’s company don’t take too long on Nal Hutta.

I think it's time for a celebration, if you need me Saber Squadron will be in The Liberations cantina. Don’t bother if it's not urgent.

Captain Brask, Out

Gamorr is of very little strategic importance at the moment and Zarr is no more than a distraction. The Empire raging against you in the galactic north is the most credible threat. To counter that threat you need to have a strong, even commanding, presence in the area. Getting Mon Calamari to support you in their own backyard is probably a good idea. Being able to run supplies and reinforcements (and freight) along the entire Outer Rim without Imperial interference is also a good idea. Jabim opens the path to the North and you might as well deal with The Wheel while you are at it (the extra income is a sweet bonus).

Commanders log:
"Stay close lightning 4"
Doing some excerise with my squadron hoping that with practice and trust, we could be as good as maybe rogue squadron even.
My squadron consists of mostly x wing pilots knows a thing or two about dog fighting. Still trying to get know my wing mates so that I can trust them to get everything done but who knows there problems, all I'm here for is to make sure they survive another day.
(Lighting 3, keep up)
"Sorry sir, trying to do what I can but still don't like my droid"
Ouch, maybe he needs to understand his Droid needs better who knows. Droids are our partner in combat and there trust goes long way in staying alive. Me and R7 been partners since the start so we know are works since the start.
(Lighting 2, don't go to far ahead)
God, some of these hot shots got to know how to work together.
Let's hope this war stays are way.
" sorry sir, I'm mostly a lone wolf"
(Remember, lone wolf left alone against a squadron can easily fall alone, we are stronger together than we are apart)
These rookies will get there fight soon enough.

Now that the Hutts aren’t an issue, you should get Home One and push to Kuat to at least destroy some of their shipyards. Scout first of course. Loving this series!

[Bodycam footage of the battle of Nal Hutta. Beginning playback.]

(As transports land, Saul leads his troops off onto the surface.)

Saul: Alrighty boys, welcome to Nal Hutta. Today's the day, we're conquering the Hutt Clans.

(This is followed by rabid cheers from much of the Fourth, and many of Saurthen's men from the Second.)

[Footage cuts to the beginning of the battle proper]

Toba: That artillery is going to work isn't it.

Saul: Yeah, it kinda is. (Blaster fire is heard from the south) Shit, we've got Hutt walkers incoming.

Tanya(in the near distance): THE BATTLE IS JOINED! HAHAHAHAA!! BLEED THESE PIRATE DOGS DRY SOLDIERS!!

Toba: Ok, Tanya and I may not get along, but she's kinda badass. I can see why you sleep around with her.

Saul: I know, right? (He fires his blaster at a few pirates.) SUCK LASERS, SCUM!

[Footage cuts to the taking of the turbolaser]

Toba: Dammit, those defenses are tough, what do we do?

Saul: I'll tell you what. We're taking that turbolaser in the center! Sons and daughters of Atramenta, do you want to live forever?

Various Soldiers: NO! LIVING FOREVER IS FOR COWARDS!

Saul: Then let's show these pirates who's got the bigger balls! Cause it sure as shit ain't them!! CHARGE!!

(The footage is one of the Fourth charging the turbolaser tower, troops are cut down by blaster fire and grenade shrapnel as they close in, but none of the living turn back
Knives and hammers are drawn and a crash of metal and meat is heard as both sides meet. Saul, Toba, and Tanya stand at the center of it all, back to back as they fire at Hutt soldiers. Cheers erupt with delighted fury as the turbolaser turns and fires at more Hutt forces coming from the west.)

Saul: The tower is ours. The defensive line is ours! We've backed the Hutts into the corner!!

[Footage does a final cut as the B-wings fly overhead.]

Toba: Here we go, the final hurrah. ALRIGHT MY FELLOW REBELS! MAKE READY! LOAD FRESH POWER PACKS! READY GRENADES! TIE YOUR KNIVES TO YOUR BLASTER BARRELS! *GET READY!!!* (With a staticky crack and a deep thrumming sound, the shield over the Hutt base deactivates.)

Saul: Now! Charge!!

(The Fourth, alongside Rebel tanks and other infantry, charge into the base, blasters firing and war cries on their lips. Nearly manic cheers sail into the air as Rouge Squadron flies overhead, Saul catching sight of a couple blue highlights on one their wings. He smiles knowing that Witton is flying air support.)

Saul: WHOO! Rouge Squadron is flying interference for us men! You see a Rouge after this battle is won, you owe them a drink! Now let's go, drive these slugs back into their swamp!

[End of footage]

I don't know if you know this, but the secret ship is the Arc Hammer, if it was the executor it would say executor. Its weird that they don't just call it the arc hammer there because every other ship that has a countdown is specifically named.

I wonder if a diplomacy system with minor factions could work in a sequel. You have the big three being The Alliance, the empire and the hutts/consortium. Then you have the less powerful ones and depending on your stance you could get them to enter non aggression or allied stances just so you’re not swamped by everyone initially.

Rebel Diaries 22 - The wide travels of this war remain ones that have seen Alliance forces move all over the galaxy. General Dodonna has cleared the skies over Nal Hutta and then retook the Toydarian system. That space battle, from what Dodonna tells me was interesting... The Hutts had a fairly decent fleet there and one that ultimately just marched head on into the turbolaser fire from the fleet the Alliance assembled. They nearly took down one of our Bakuran Destroyers, but the Hutt fleet was practically destroyed in detail. They advanced and met a massive barrage that left them blazing before long, and all they took out were a few fighters and a corvette. That was an impressive space victory and one that's helped a lot with the victory on Nal Hutta...

And that's one thing I can discuss on more. The standard tactic that's been relied on in this campaign has continued to work so far, as our artillery has proven quite effective at bombarding targets at long range, which went a long way to taking the planet. But as with many Hutt worlds, their beasts and warriors proved fanatically loyal. The Hutts enslaved millions... perhaps billions in their history... and one would think that our arrival... or even the Empire's arrival... would get the Hutt slaves to rise up against masters that have abused them for centuries. This made for a tough fight and one that took time, and even lead to some close fighting. When my craft came in, I could see Princess Leia in the thick of it. I could see her standing on the back of a Hutt, shooting its attack animals with a blaster and strangling the Hutt with the leash the Hutt had for its attack animals. She is bold and brave, but she was bruised and cut up a bit... though the doctors tell me there should be no scaring with just some bacta for treatment.

The victories at Toydaria and Nal Hutta would put the Hutt campaign into a mop up phase with only the last planet to be taken being Gamor. And while the larger threat posed by the Empire and its Black Sun allies may push others to want to move on or just to blockade Gamor, I would advise against that. For one thing, from what was observed on Nal Hutta, I don't think the Hutt rulers on Gamor are going to suddenly treat the Gamorrians with respect now that they've lost their capital... and with the Hutts still in control, I'm afraid the Gamorrians won't rise up on their own. With the forces brought in for the Hutt campaign, it wouldn't be hard to take care of the last bits of Hutt leadership on the planet and truly free the Gamorrians... or at least protect their society to develop free of the whims of some criminal slug.

In the meantime, securing Gamor would also help secure our supply lines from Hoth to Kessel and the coming campaign that Eclipse's fleet intends to make to link the Alliance's holdings in the Galactic South with the Galactic Northeast. And that's going to be the most crucial thing for us. We've won in the outer rim, and that does a lot... but very little of our fights have been against the Empire, and they will be dug in in the core worlds and the Maw would also be a post needed to demolish. There is also going to be the need to secure Zhar assure that the Empire has no forces in the south... and that no blockading force ends up getting pulled away. If we can get camps, bases, and shipyards over Gamor... our southern wing will gain more resources that may help provide for the inevitable fight against the Empire.

Not to mention that moving in against the Empire will require a massive build up that will take time. More capital ships, more fighters, more ground troops and equipment. Princess Leia and Commander Skywalker are quite adept at inspiring a loyal following, but building the ships and training the men will take time. Taking Gamor will give those efforts time to build at Sullust, Eriadu, and Sluis Vann for the south and Mon Calamari in the Northeast. And all of that will be needed before even considering offensive fights against the Empire. In this, there is much to do and build, and securing Gamor would be something that can be done while waiting and will free the locals from Hutt oppression. - General Rieekan.

Vice admiral's log: alliance Destroyer Requiem. Patrolling with the fleet near Jabim.

"I expected to be busy when I got the promotion. I guess I underestimated just how busy I would be. The last few rotations have been all logistics and requisitions and general fleet managers while we wait for the green light for the push towards the Wheel. With the fight in Hutt space finishing up, I think that's coming soon.

No further incidents of Sabatoge have been reported since the incident a month ago. It seems that our mysterious Dagger 6 was the ringleader, or at least, the one in charge of this section of the Sabatoge ring. Still no word on their location. Alliance intelligence hasn't turned up anything but rumors. I talked with dagger leader after the attack. He was just as shocked as everyone else in the squadron. Officially dagger 6 was Terran Gil, a farm boy out of the rim. Obviously the files are fake. Whether we are dealing with a sleeper agent or a full infiltration remains to be seen. This agent was under cover for years and managed to network loyal rebel soldiers to do his dirty work. That's not easy. They know technology too, the B wing they used to escape was modified far beyond standard requirements for ground attack actions. Rotary cannons, missile countermeasures, a full battery of anti-ship torpedos. Our infiltrator was packing serious heat. You don't just do that unless you planned far more than bombings and hyperdrive Sabatoge.

Hopefully a lead turns up soon. We don't catch a break by the time we start operations again I may have to bite the blaster bolt and set a bounty. I know Larin and dagger leader are chomping at the big for some rebel justice. I'll pen another log when there is an update. Sorin Teague signing out."
