Just had my first motorcycle crash today, car pulled out in front of me and got thrown off bike. Left with no injuries and bike only has one scratch on headlight, and the bar end. When you talk about jumping off your bike before an accident there is no way you can react that fast. It was like a fog looking back I don’t remember anything except getting up and limping and the people that hit me were freaking out. Luckily my bike is ok and still looks great. I got lucky and I wasn’t wearing gear. I usually wear gear but was a nice day and wanted to feel the breeze. Be safe out there guys anything can happen in seconds I had never had an accident in 4 years

Looking forward to see how you put the GoPro mount on! I love my race star and been up in the air on how to mount mine. It’s hard to see in pics but these helmets have a lot of chiseled out lines.

Nice helmet. Really hate fogging issues. That are 2 nice features where it has a transition tint and anti fogging. Nice jacket too. Maybe next year I will upgrade my gear I just bought.

I've got a Bell Star with the Protint and have to say the shield is incredible. Not only from the photochromatic but like cyclecruza mentioned the shield absolutely does not fog up. I have a X14 and there is no comparison unless you install the pinlock in the Shoei. It is quieter than the Bell by a large margin though. I'd definitely like to try the Prostar DLX sometime in the future. Too bad the Exo R1 bit the dust already. RIP Scorpion :(

Question why as a rider should we wear ear plugs ? Wouldn’t it make it harder for us to know what’s going on around us while riding through traffic or the highway ?

I’ve been using the Bell Star mips Isle of Man 2018 helmet. It’s definitely my favorite but I had to buy the tinted shield myself. I also don’t like the snaps in the cheek pads. Everything else I love. My next helmet is going to be the the dlx.
