With the war in Ukraine heating up, it looks as if Europe will finally be giving Ukraine the tanks it wants. But does this mean the Leopard 2 could end up going toe to toe with Russia's latest and greates, the T-14 Armata? And who would win if they did?

The Armata is so stealthy that even The russians cant find them

As a former infantryman in the Swiss Army, I can assure you that the Leopard 2 is an absolutely lethal weapon. The key to success is to see before you are seen. In exercises with live ammunition we got to experience this first hand.

The greatest weakness of the T-14 Armata is that IT DOES NOT EXIST. Aside from that, it is a great weapon.

The T-14's tech is so advanced it can almost stop a missile from the 90s, and an engine so advanced that it's based on an infamously unreliable design from WW2 that broke down in a victory day parade

I'm pretty sure a tank that actually exists, like, any tank, can beat the tank that exists only on paper.

And so the Leopards have been proven to be useless in Ukraine. Only good for scrap metal.😂

The Leopard may have trouble destroying a non-existent tank. Vice versa, it is probably also difficult for the Armata to hit an existing tank, so it balances out again.

"also the tank can fly, and teleport"

The T14 is built for parades, the leopard is built for combat.

artillery and anti-tank mines in Zaporizhzhia says hello to the leopards

Funny to think that till January 2022 everyone believed Russia's One Guard Tank Battalion can spear through NATO frontlines ... and here we are in 1 year later...

The Leopard2 is fantastic and it exists. T14 is just a project with a few prototypes which broke down in public. It would be more realistic to compare T14 with KF51 Panther or Abrams X.

The T-14 sure would be a monster on the battlefield, if Russia had more than like 5 of them.

Ah yes, T-14 Armata with engine from WW2, that had to be towed from parade, because it broke down.

I'll take bunch of battle-tested Leos, thank you

Leopard 2 is a decent last gen tank. T-14 doesn't exist except on paper. May aswell make a video saying who'd win a race between Redrum and a Unicorn

I found an article from some years ago that was titled
"T-14 armata it's the most devastating tank in the world, it devastated the russian military budget"

Summing what was written "T-14 armata on paper 📃 it's perfect and almost invincible, in the reality the produces vehicles are overengineered with loads of components that can easily fail and very expensive to produce.

I heard that Russian tank turrets fly higher than any plane

Listening to tankers and former tankers, they aren't sure if the unmanned turret is a good idea or not in practice. They all say that being able to see your enemy before they can see you is the best way to fight in a tank. That's why even through American tanks have all these great optics and sensors, tank commanders prefer to keep their heads stuck out so they can use their eyes to scan the battlefield, even at night.

If there are any T-14s that are combat ready (not that likely) then they will be in very small numbers, they are simply way too complex for Russia to build and maintain when cut off from most international technology.
But yeah this is a weird comparison, it's a last gen tank with modern upgrades vs a prototype next gen tank that is currently not battlefield ready

The leopard has proven to be one of the best mobile platforms to exist in recent history due to how well it traverses across intense terrains at high speeds. With how Ukraine is looking currently there isn't a shadow of a doubt that it would demolish the t14 if it existed.
