Rocket was so innocent and prob genuinely thought the high evolutionary cared about him, instead of loving rocket and being proud he decides to remove his brain and killing the only family he knew which in turn created the GOTG rocket . Crazy to think if the high evolutionary kept him around what Rocket could have helped him do

The High Evolutionary reminds me of an arrogant team lead I had back in my early software development days. I insisted design matters, that following best practices and thinking the structure of an application through before writing any code makes a difference. He just wanted to crank code, damn the consequences.

To prove me wrong he put together a paper airplane contest. I took the time to design mine, tested a few examples of what I thought would work best. He and the rest of the team members crumpled their pieces of paper in tight paper balls. They threw their arms out on their throws. I gently tossed mine into the air. It wasn't even close as my well designed paper airplane sailed right past their wads of paper.

His reaction was about the same as the High Evolutionary's.
