66 narrowboat life UK - Early Morning Ride Through Braunston And Over The Tunnel

NARROW ESCAPE - our narrowboat life adventure. In this episode we do something a little different. Elliott breaks out the 'bike in a bag' and takes a morning ride through Braunston and onto Long Buckby Wharf before everyone is up. The idea is to try and follow the path the tow horses would have back in the day, given they couldn't go through the tunnel. There are no roads over the tunnel so it's not exactly straight forward especially as modern infrastructure gets in the way. We find a way around though and meet up again with the canal on the other side of the tunnel (which is closed this morning to allow passage of a wide beam through) before finishing the ride at Long Buckby Wharf. Along the way we will point out the various facilities along this stretch of canal so if you’re thinking of visiting yourself you’ll know where everything is!

How did i miss this one.
Elliott on a bike one of my prefered forms of transportation, especially along a canal tow path.
Did you have a head cam? Go pro?
Ive not rode that section you done well finding the ither end of the tunnel.
You must have rode uour bike down the stepped bridge id have done it on my onone hybred 29'er lol. Too brave for my age lol.
Slowed me down and ended my jumping days when i broken my collar bone at cannock chase..😮 mentioned it before😅.
