Moto G hands-on: a close-up look at the Moto X's little brother

People that are saying shit about this phone... (NO LTE, Bad Camera...) Think about it. It's an unlocked phone with solid specs w/ a price point of $179 which is appsolutely amazing and I think Motorola really made a great decision about making this phone. Just my opinion.

I did research on the Snapdragon 400 processor sometime ago and the one I thing remember is the battery life. The battery life on this phone will be insane. You're getting high end specs for the fraction of the price. At least HSPA+ is still being used here in the US, so one will miss out on 4G.

Moto XC... It's cheap but apparently still performing well. It's good for emerging countries. But what a about some of us who don't live in the US and can't wait to get their hands on a top of the range Googlerola phone?

Excellent phone for its price point. I only wish Motorola would have included a micro SD card slot, it would have made Moto G a whole lot more desirable.

i really love how Motorola made the removable back! if you look on the site it shows you can put on covers cases and other things! this is how i thought the moto x was going to be like a swappable back is a much better idea then buying a whole new phone because you changed your mind of color! i wish the backs had pins to connect to the phone so that you can put on wireless charging and other ad ones if you feel like it.  the only downside i see with this phone is that it dose not have amoled/oled so that means no active display also it dose not have the x8 chip so no touchless controls. as for lte if your using it with att or tmobile then youll get hpa+ and its fast enough for me!

This looks like it has the potential to be a very good phone.
$179/£135 unlocked as a base price is crazy good for this hardware.
I'll be grabbing one as soon as I can to do some videos and hands on comparisons with it.

Wish they'd put a dedicated camera button in this & the Moto X rather than the ridiculous shake hand thing which no one can get right. That's the one thing I miss from my old Lumia 800.

that removable back but no battery removal or micro sd kills any market share. They really need to be more productive about the way they spend their money. although, with a 179 price tag, i might get it just to tinker with android again.

The Moto G is a smart move by google, its basically what Apple did with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c except this times its with the Moto G and the Nexus 4!

Basically, it has similar specs to the Nexus 4, but its colorful and a little cheaper. Its definitely something I would still recommend over an iPhone and is one of those products that makes it easier to want to move to Android!
