you can tell with new leaf they were so ambitious with new leaf and releasing the amiibo update, especially when Nintendo had rarely done stuff like that was a big leap for them and this would allow them to delivered that polished finished project they could have only dreamed of giving us on 3ds

I see your point, but at the same time, just because Voldemort wands are currently being distributed by the Nobel Collection, doesn’t mean they’re remaking Harry Potter lol. The only time there’s good merch for an entry in a franchise (when it’s new) is if there’s a collectors edition or something like it, otherwise we’re always waiting years for the good stuff, and since they just shut the online features down, New Leaf is under a spotlight lately

Most of the remaining games that were announced in Nintendo Direct awhile back should be released this year, such as Fantasy Life and Plucky Squire/Asquire!

I would be extremely happy with an Animal Crossing that has quality of life updates. If they keep crafting, then we need to be able to craft X amount of items at one time. If they keep terraforming, it needs to be faster, and control better. Have the A button be "Create" and the B button be "Destroy." Just a couple examples of what Im looking for. Also get rid of the durability mechanic, or at least make it so golden tools don't break.
