They turned off the comments but before they did that I saw a commentor claim that they went to that school and that the entire story was bullshit. Claiming fuzzz lied about the gender of the people who fired them. How they were much more of a distraction then they made it out to be and how most of the kids really didn't like them. Teachers who make their sexuality their whole personality are just weird, especially when they are encouraging this kind of behavior onto kids…

Edit: I don’t really care if a teacher is gay, straight, etc. Let kids be kids, they will discover this on their own once they can make their own choices (like in high school). It’s like those kids who go on hormone blockers or transition into another gender, they will later regret their decision and impact them greatly (because they don’t know any better, they won’t think about the consequences), once they’re old enough, they can do whatever they want with their bodies as long as it’s safe.
When people say these things, people will call them transphobic or homophobic but people are just trying to protect kids from damaging themselves. There are things that are happening in pride month about involving kids, saying things like ‘kids will love us’ or ‘kids will join us’ don’t you think that’s just…gross?

I noticed a very common theme with this persons video… the only thing it seems to care about is being told how great they are.. from their ex telling them how great they are to connect and talk to a queer student.. to them bragging about how the students tell them they were their favourite sub teacher.. she didnt seem to at all mention anytihng to do with actually teaching kids and educating the kids…

As someone studying to become a teacher and a person a part of the queer community, there is a huge level of disconnect and professionalism I see all around social media with people like this and really all “teacher influencers”
People get too caught up in pushing this ideal of picture perfect representation or diversity in the classroom that they forget the goal at the end of the day is not changing the personal opinions of their students, it is fostering a safe environment for EVERYONE to learn and remain professional.

I could never imagine having my entire personality as an educator being my lesbianism. And as someone who had several queer teachers in highschool, I imagine neither could they
