James May explains why he was fired from Autocar magazine, and the joy of Japanese toilets

Former Top Gear and current The Grand Tour host James May has been fired from plenty of places. He was famously fired from Autocar for putting secret messages in the magazine, but has also been let go from everywhere from a car dealership to an ice cream stand. He gave us his advice on what to do if you lose your job.

James also explains the joys of Japanese toilets, following his trip there for his new Amazon show, James May: Our Man In Japan.

It's quite an achievement to be fired from the Civil Service as I have always considered it impossible. The level of laziness and incompetence allowed is so high that james must have murdered someone to have been let go. I know plenty of civil servants that regularily don't turn up for work, so it couldn't have been that.
