Great to see WinForms is still being updated. In my company we use it a lot.

Winforms may be old but it’s still gold. I never got into WPF/Silverlight. Thanks Microsoft for continuing to improve it.

Great to hear that WinForms is still very high on your agenda! Over the last decade we developed a huge code base around WinForms and we were unsure if Win11 will just slowly abandon it in favor of WinUI/WPF.
Only thing we could wish for is that Visual Studio should not always randomly reorder the designer files, so merging them and comparing changes will be possible (essential for Git).

I'm liking these updates, I'm glad to see WinForms isn't dead. S/O to the public supporters, you want it, you made it.

Like the new coloured Tabs. Have to agree, that is super cool. Tools -> Options -> Tabs and Windows -> Colorize document tabs by project

Thank you very much for the continued support for our dear WinForms. Is Visual Basic.Net language also supported in this new IDE or its only for C# and other languages?

Perfect, if you add transparency, animations and rounded forms; personally, It is enough for me. So that I will not be oblige to learn others like WPF, MAUI, Blazor etc.. Do you have projection to do that .? Thanks

With source code being public, how can I conveniently jump into that source code eg using F12, can I even debug into it?

I know WPF and Winforms are very different, but why not let Winforms take advantage of the GPU performance for its graphics rendering? It would give Winforms a real makeover ...

Cool! Now fix VS so it doesn’t trash forms in the designer on HDPI screens.

In VS2022 when I go and create a new WinForm project (Core, non-Framework) none of the WinForm controls show up in the Toolbox. I've reset the toolbox, I've restarted VS, rebooted the machine, nothing works. When I "show all" I see the items but they are all disabled / blacked out. When I create a WinForm project using 4.8 Framework, the controls all show up fine in Toolbox and I can drag and drop them just fine onto the form in the designer. I've searched quite a bit and have not found a solution to get those controls to show in the Toolbox in a stock DotNet 6 WinForm project from the template. Any ideas?
