I don't work with C++, but I've been learning C#, and going from VS 2019 to 2022 has been amazing. Intellisense is actually useful now, and the global using and implicit namespaces are *chef's kiss*

I remember the lower case "L" in VS looked very similar to the numerical 1. Glad to see the new font doesn't have that problem. Has thrown me off before.

I wonder how long it will take them to use data scraped from IntelliCode to make a fully automated programmer.

I wish they added a html and css editors on it. It'd be the perfect web dev ide.

VS22 is much much faster across the board; however I have run into several issues/bugs which they have yet to resolve... I might wait a little while before converting over in my hobby projects

I believe global using is going to be good for aliases. There are certainly projects where you would have the same using in virtually every file because you are using some API, but that is fine, you can have those using at the top of the file... But, if you are using aliases, you may want to change them in a single place. Disclaimer: I haven't tested this feature at the time of writing, but I know somebody who was looking forward to it.

Thank you! Amazing video. I've a question: What's your favorite programming language?

Nice. Looks like some great improvements there. Let me know when it can hold a candle to Rider 😊

Only subscription based option for purchase. I hate that.

On a Unity project using VS2022, I'm still only seeing the regular intellisense I'm used to, I'm not seeing any Whole Line Completions. How do you turn this feature on? I don't see it on preferences. :(

How does it compare to Rider? Rider was fast in comparison to the old Visual Studio

Visual Studio 2022 is a big update yes but C# 10 is the most lackluster release ever no notable language features other than quirks and a couple of QOL improvements.
