ANDRUW JONES and his amazing baseball career | I AM ME

Welcome back to I AM ME. Today I got to sit down with a legend. Andruw Jones is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues for 17 seasons. He was born in Willemstad, Curaçao on April 23, 1977, and made his MLB debut with the Atlanta Braves in 1996 at the age of 19.

Jones was known for his exceptional defensive skills, which earned him 10 Gold Glove awards throughout his career. He also had a powerful bat, hitting 434 home runs and driving in 1,289 runs.

During his time with the Braves, Jones was a five-time All-Star and helped lead the team to the World Series in 1996. He also played for several other teams throughout his career, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, and Chicago White Sox.

Off the field, Jones has been involved in several charitable initiatives, including the Andruw Jones Family Foundation, which aims to support youth baseball and softball programs in Curaçao and the United States.
