If I have children, They will NOT have phones or social media. I will teach them everything they need to know b4 they even go near a phone. I will even stay away from mine, to set a good example.

I was 9 in 1977. I can’t remember what I wanted, but it would have been something like a stickball bat and a can of Spaldings, an electric race track set, or a Star Wars lunch box. Maybe some temporary tattoos, Pop Rocks, candy cigarettes, and Mad Magazines 😊
Hell, I’m almost 56 and still want those things! Being a kid was so fun back then 🤩

I dont remember what I wanted when I was 9. Oh yeah, it was 2006. That was the year that New Super Mario Bros came out on the DS. I wanted that.

My daughter and I, I'm Dad, go to the smelly store in the mall for fun smelling lotion once or twice a year. Then she tomboys up and is grubbing around in the woodshop with me. I love my daughter, she's cute, she's fun and she smells like vanilla when I get a hug.

If it came from hot topic, I wanted it. If I could bring it to show and tell, I wanted it. If I could have fun while getting that necessary mental stimulation thats essential for brain development, then I wanted it! It's clear that these kids spent most of their childhood in front of screen instead of outside and they were probably raised by a mother who was also heavily influenced by social media so naturally those girls will follow in their mothers footsteps. I cant tell you how painful it is to see a baby crying and the mom just hands them a screen to shut them up. There is zero parenting involved there.. Thats teaching kids that their emotions are annoying and they can be minimized with distractions instead of empathy and compassion....

BOP IT!!! I LOVED THAT!! But yeah this is sad. Honestly you look prettier than all the models they were showing that advertised the product because you look more natural and your personality seems really good the way you have concerns about all this new age garbage. Keep up the good work with informing us how far the beauty standards go into making people have unrealistic expectations.
