Man seriously injured after wrecking motorcycle into oncoming traffic

ANDERSON TWP, Ohio(WKRC) - A man suffered serious injuries after wrecking his motorcycle into oncoming traffic in Anderson Twp Saturday evening.

Officers were called to the intersection of Clough Pike and Bridges Road a little before 7 p.m. for the crash.

Police say 52-year-old Dwayne Henson was heading west on Clough Pike when he tried to turn right near the intersection of Bridges Road.

He lost control of his motorcycle skidding across the center double yellow line into an oncoming Chevy Cobalt.

Henson sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to University Hospital. He was listed in stable condition.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The 54-year-old man driving the Cobalt was not injured.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not.

The crash remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit.
