In this video I try to make my old 2007 Porsche Cayenne Turbo like new by fixing all the faults. There are quite a few such as a leaky roof, smoke from the exhaust, faulty electrics and many more. How much will all this cost me? Watch the video to find out.

11, 000 pounds for a 500 hp old Porsche is not bad at all. You can’t get any fantastic car like this for this price.

I love that you actually own old cars that you fix and keep running on the road.

When you're asking people questions, make sure to allow them enough time to respond.

Nice Job Mat getting it all sorted out. I’m an Original Owner of a 2005 Touareg 4.2 V8 and it truly is my baby 😉😏

Now it’s time to get it detailed & ceramic coated. We want a detailed episode 😁

Hi Matt would really like to see a few videos with your porsche. I full deep detail and paint correction possible at auto finesse. A full underside dry ice clean to bring the underside back to life, and a before and after dyno video. A bigger intercooler, some performance air filters new spark plugs and fuel filters and a ecu remap .I'm sure this big old girl still has more to give . Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next . Then I would love to see how the porsche stacks up against the modern big suvs on the drag strip 🇩🇪👍

(You failed to mention the price of all 4 tyres on top of the Porsche bill though.)

I just purchased a 2015 cayenne turbo, loving it, the pdcc active sway-bars are incredible, how flat this big tall heavy thing corners is a credit to Porsche engineering, then the sway bars de couple in a straight line for such a soft ride wow

Really happy to see someone on YouTube has picked up one of these to restore. I’ve got an 08 Cayenne GTS 6MT, they’re great cars, especially when optioned with PDCC and locking rear diff

I dig your love for older luxury cars. I love my 04 Lexus LS, and I have been restoring it over 5 years. My dream car is a 1999 7-Series, which I want to get and restore one day

Wow the underside of that Porsche looks like it’s been in the ocean!!😮
Those prices were eye watering 😢

thank you for showing the pricing and stuff, its very helpful for consumers to decide to use the dealer or not.
Also keep in mind that if an owner had fixed these problems as they appear, the total price would be spread over a longer period of time, making it easier to digest.

Too much plastic used in newer cars! Looks nice Mat! Greetings from Thailand.

That specialist tool cost £5.99 from Amazon.

All people with rear wiper blades on windows should have them

My dad gave me his old ‘08 cayenne what a gem, but it’s a money pit I literally had 4 of the issues Matt mentioned not to mention fuel 😪.

Great video Mat. Very useful for those of us considering a 2nd hand Porsche. The bill is eye-watering, but not crippling, considering you have fixed so may issues and brought a 17yr old car back up to snuff. Also, as you suggest an independent specialist may be cheaper. And some of those jobs could even have been done by my local garage. Overall, reassured. Now back to browsing Autotrader...😅
