One application you didnt mention is inlays. I did a project in HS where I finished off a tabletop by routing out a design and filling it with epoxy I had colored by just spraying spraypaint into the mixture while pouring. Did it before sanding and it is still pretty badass 16 years later.

Art resin or craft resin? Is that a bad idea for a small river style shelf? Does it lack adhesion properties?

I’m gonna do a blue river table, but once it’s cured I want to do a table top flood coat on top. What’s the best way to scuff up the river epoxy for good adhesion, but also have the colored river still look great? Thanks!

Is there any way to salvage an overheated pour? It's hard for the most part but tacky.

I followed all the directions on the instruction sheet and poured my epoxy on a live edge bartop. I used a heat gun to raise the bubbles that formed and one end of the top turned out perfect. The other end began to get foamy bubbles in it and at first I could get most of them out. Once the epoxy began to set I had to stop using the heat gun because I was beginning to see ripples forming. the epoxy however continued to foam and I am afraid they are going to be in the coating. What made one end so much different than the other? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

Hello! Great information in the video. A couple questions. First, I did a seal coat and 2 flood coats to my table with no air bubbles at all. Followed all directions to a T. Checked on it constantly with no air bubbles. 2 days into curing i went out to check on it and it had air bubbles (AARRRGH!!) Any idea why that happened? Second question, did you use table top epoxy for the coasters? Thanks!

thanks for the video! but I have a question about epoxy! Sometimes, after removing the table tops from the base, the wood is warped (cup). Why does this occur?

What is the website I can order epoxy from? I made a small frame of bottle caps and a small table with bottle caps. Now, I need an epoxy to put on top.

I live in Queen Creek Arizona, sounds like I might have two or three days per year I might be able to pour epoxy. It’s 106 F right now. But great information thanks.
