Tanjiro being able to use other breath styles isnt that crazy since he is a sun breathing user. All of the other breathing styles came from sun breathing so he can kind of use them, even though they wont be as good. Weve seen this shit before as well, since he could switch between water breathing and sun breathing.

The part where he saw all the organs and the inside of hantengu is another completely different ability from tanjiro's sense of smell, but tanjiro will not fully unlock this ability until a lot later in the story. I will not say anything more for spoiler reasons.

Tanjiro didn't use thunder breathing he used the movement of it (if that makes sense). Thunder movement is really just leg strength, so anyone can do it with the right amount of training. He basically took the flow but not the skill itself

1. Didnt use the actual 1st Form of Thunder Breathing, just the method of breath manipulation in which Thunder Breathing Slayers, like Zenitsu, use. It is not a surprise that Tanjiro was able to use this to advantage seemingly off rip as he is the only Sun Breathing (Hinokami) slayer left. The breathing style in which all others originate from. It’s also not as if Tanjiro, Rengoku, Tengen, and a myriad of other slayers haven’t already demonstrated various feats of speed throughout the show already. So the suspension of disbelief was no greater than when I saw Tanjiro mix up Water Breathing and Sun Breathing in his fight w/ Daki. What Tanjiro pulled off was a fairly reasonable feat and it doesn’t diminish Zenitsu’s accomplishments at all. All Tanjiro pulled off was a cheap imitation when compared to Zenitsu.




2. The “Sharingan” moment you described is another ability Demon Slayers can acquire. I won’t say anything more in order to not spoil the manga any further.

You have to remember that all other breathing styles originate from sun breathing—they all hone in on certain strengths (like leg power for thunder breathing)—so it makes sense for Tanjiro to be able to focus on the strengths associated with thunder breathing and essentially produce the same output

Tanjiro didn't smell Hantengu hiding in his body. In the manga Tanjiro and Yoriichi have this ability to access the "transparent world" which allows them to basically see in x-ray vision. They unlock this ability from putting aside all their worldly possessions. For Tanjiro he had to let go of Nazuko to chase after Hantengu. This is also like how Aang had to let go of his loved ones to control the avatar state. This makes sense in demon slayer because some parts are based off buddhism. Also in the manga, Nazuko was supposed to get the ability to survive in the sun(for plot reasons).
