The sound design on Tanjiro's Final Swing 0:16 is just immaculate.
In fact i think this is the second angriest hinokami slash after Gyutaro slash in Season 2.
Tanjiro in this exact moment was not like "please die and rest" but "You have to fucking die."

For me, not just the scene. It's the music. A mix of emotions. Sadness because he thinks he lost Nezuko, followed by burning anger and vengeance upon Hantengu. The first time I watched this scene, that is exactly what I felt.
His face at 08:00 says it all. If I were a fellow demon slayer and saw Tanjiro, usually a kind-hearted person, this angry, I would be getting goosebumps. If I were a demon and see that face and a sword that burns like the sun descending upon my neck, well I just consider myself dead.

Fun fact. Hantengu is the only demon Tanjiro doesn't feel saddened about killing. Tanjiro genuinely hated Hantengu because Hantengu was the anthesis of what Tanjiro is as a person.
