x=log(2•5³)/log5
x=(log2+log5³)/log5
x=(log2+3log5)/log5
x=log2/log5+3
x=logbase5(2)+3

I can do this in my head without going through all the calculations.

I'm not sure why you'd need to make it any more complicated than that!
