I hear it all the time: CONSISTENCY IS EVERYTHING!

And it’s TRUE… except 🫠

If you’re being consistent with the WRONG things - you ain’t gonna see the results you want, fam! ❌

If you consistency track your food, that doesn’t automatically = fat loss 👎🏼

BUUUT! If you are consistently in a calorie deficit (regardless of whether you track or not) ➡️ You WILL lose fat 🔥

If you consistently lift weights, that doesn’t automatically = muscle gain 💪🏼❌

You need to be pushing your muscles CLOSE ENOUGH to failure to actually see muscle growth!

If you’re a beginner in the gym, you probably don’t know what “failure” even feels like - and that’s okay!

I recommend FIRST focusing on perfecting your form ➡️ THEN pushing yourself close to failure during your sets! Meanwhile, it’s important you ADJUST your expectations for the amount of muscle growth you’re going to experience while you’re in the beginner/learning phase. 💃🏻❤️
