*For the pure sake of the "real Ronaldo" argument, it's definitely R9. He's the older one and the one who started his football career first. Also, R9's first name is Ronaldo, while the latter's is Cristiano. Not only that, I believe I heard somewhere that the reason Cristiano chose to go with Ronaldo on the back of his shirt is because he knew it'd be more memorable/marketable.*
