Luminar AI - Best Landscape Editing Plugin For Lightroom (and more)?!

In this photo editing tutorial, I demonstrate my Lightroom Classic workflow for editing landscape photos and then taking a round trip to Luminar AI and back to Lightroom. Using Luminar AI during the editing process allows us access to many photo editing tools and creative options that we just don't have in Lightroom. And it's a lot easier and quicker than using Photoshop.

13:53 Capture One has a great way of doing this. You can create layers (even for the entire photo for your basic adjustments) and you can reduce the opacity of that layer.

Anthony, you mentioned that you do your Sharpening in Luminar--but you bounced back to Lightroom without any--where is sharpening done in Luminar!!

Anthony, thanks so much again for this vid. Just working on an image today and couldn't get it to where I wanted it. Using both LR and Luminar like you are....round tripping. You've got me finally getting the radial filter and gradients right in my head. I'll get THERE tomorrow.

An excellent detailed and comprehensive video Anthony. It's helpful to see the use of LAI as a Plugin with LR as so many editing videos tend to concentrate in using just a single image processor editor. I understand that there is an imminent Luminar AI update due in which they say there is at long last a profile update for us Canon R5 users. Fingers crossed.

Enjoyed your tutorial and followed your instructions. I exported photo into Luminar AI with LR adjustments. I did a few edits in Luminar Ai. Then clicked apply in the top right as you explained. Lightroom opened up but I cant see the edited photo anywhere in LR. Any ideas what went wrong please.
