I started using Luminar 4 because I didn't want to pay for a subscription to Adobe CC. It is on the slow side but better than paying $120-240/year for Lightroom and/or Photoshop and works fine for my purposes. I also use Topaz Labs DenoiseAI and SharpenAI as plugins in conjunction with Luminar 4.

Not convinced any season veteran of photoshop will agree all these effects are easy enough to achieve in PS, it's just a matter of A, speed, B, will it give you the effect that your own creative mind is looking for, I don't think it will. But at least it's cheap enough.

Sounds good, but they left Luminar 4.3 users that are having startup problems hanging in the wind. They showed us that if their product has a problem, we can expect no help from them. I would be a long time user and buy this version, but I cannot trust them or their products to work on my Windows 10 Pro PC. No company can expect loyal followers if they ignore their subjects and their problems. For me, I will delete Luminar 4.2 (had to go back to use the program) as soon as Photoshop introduces their version of the sky replacement tool.
