Anna Ruby Falls near Helen, Georgia is an amazingly beautiful waterfall! Plunging over 150 feet to the creek below, this twin waterfall results from the merging of Curtis Creek and York Creek to form Smith Creek as it continues after the falls. The waterfall is easily reached by a fully accessible paved path that runs from the park's visitor center. It's located in the Chattooga Ranger District only minutes outside Helen, Georgia. If you're planning a trip to Helen, this park is really a must see. Once you arrive at the park you can hike to the falls, enjoy the amazing scenery and get back to your car in less than an hour (just FYI in case you're limited on time).

Anna Ruby Fall Recreation Area is located at 3455 Anna Ruby Falls Road in Helen, Georgia. Helen is a beautiful and fun town in North Georgia that gives you the feeling (at least a little bit) of visiting a Bavarian town in Germany. We've been at different times of the year and prefer it in the winter, but summer is also amazing with lots of fun things to do (like the Alpine Rollercoaster and tubing!). If you don't know about Helen, Georgia, you have to visit - it's a lot of fun!
