Helen Georgia, A German Inspired Town | Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park and Downtown Helen

Tucked away in North Georgia is the amazing gem of Helen, Georgia. This Alpine Mountain town is built to look like a German logging town. There are many different traditional German restaurants and candy shops. We even visited a traditional clock shop!

We also visited Unicoi State park, and Anna Ruby falls, both beautiful hikes! We visited in mid October and enjoyed the beginning of the leave turning colors for the season.
We stayed in a cute little cabin booked through Georgia Mountain Rentals.

I'm from Ohio and just got back today from a 3 week stay in Murphy N. Carolina at a friend's cabin in a remote location that had a beautiful view! During my stay I visited Anna Ruby Falls and hell n back George 😅... Just joking, Helen Georgia for my first time and it was absolutely beautiful. We spent the entire day there checking out many gift and souvenir shops and I purchased a really nice silver necklace for $120 as my souvenir!. The outdoor restaurant was a nice luncheon location next to the creek as well while watching a fisherman catch a really nice size trout!! Definitely a recommended place to visit for those who have never been there! I really enjoyed my time there!!
You both look very happy and I wish you many more Happy anniversaries to come!!! Keep them drawers pulled up! 😎👍

Excellent Guys.. OH how I know those roads in N, Ga. I could take you guys thru some curvy roads that you didn't see .OH! Didn't see the non friendly Dog places. Out of the question for a non friendly Dog hotel/ motel / what ever~~ If my Dog can't Go, , I don't Go. !

Ana Ruby Falls is beautiful. Didnt know until recently that Ana Ruby is the woman from Hardman Farms just west of the bavarian village. Just went there today and hiked the Hardman Farms trail. - Andrew

hallo, guten tag. Haven't been there in 2 years but its a classic alpine town. We would go there every year but we couldn't go since COVID hit, the good side is that we have a bunch of money left over so we spend a bunch there. Our last time there we stayed at a fisherman's cabin 362-372 Escowee Dr Helen, Georgia and bottom garage is a hot tub and dart board and brought our dogs and since it was two years ago the roller-coaster wasn't there so were going on that next time we go and that train set there is a replica from Germany, One more thing, i know you hear cars and cars but there's a racing club that lives there I've been passed by a Acura and ford frs and hear a ton loud cars through the forest. that's probably what I missed the most
