As a fellow PhD student in a (somewhat) related field, these are all great points -- some are also suggestions my advisor gave me, such as writing down all the ideas very soon after you had them.
Another tip related to those in this video: my senior lab mate had suggested to me a daily strategy which is "manage energy instead of time". The energy to do complex intellectual labor is actually very limited on a day-to-day basis and it is not equivalent to time.

Thank you so much for sharing! I am a working professional who is hoping to work on a part time Phd and so far made little progress. One thing I learned is that time is the only thing that cant be created.. You have to guard your time as the most precious jewels.

new PhD student here, thanks for the tips :))
I'm studying in Flanders so I think the situation is quite similar. Very useful!
My PhD focuses on (applied) design in healthcare. Things I take on besides my PhD is learning Dutch!

Started my PhD during fall 2021, thank so much for your content, Charlotte! I'm trying to get situated with Notion to see if it works for me. Do you have any additional tips for developing a work/research schedule?
