i used to make whiskey, i worked hard to get the flavors present in my whiskey; i'd never filter it like that, i think it'd extract a lot of the flavor. Vodka on the other hand, can be vastly improved by brita filtering.

Filtering gives that upscale high end smooth taste
I've used coffee filters n even triple ply paper towels

I ran Everclear through a filter 5 x and made Limoncello with it. Smoothed it out nicely

Try putting it in the freezer and reach around 32 degrees and then do it. Should help freeze the solids to filter better

My friend and I filtered Kirkland bottom shelf vodka through a Britta filter. It was not bad at all!

I tried this with a cheap vodka once, but not whisky. The vodka was much improved, but kind of the _point_ of whisky are the flavors that would be filtered out.
