You are supposed to sit down on the board at the beginning of the ramp. Then use the square metal hand railings to pull yourself forward to the edge. That way you're not trying to step in between rollers or step on the rollers and fall injuring yourself. Sometimes when common sense is lacking, injuries happen. I cringed when I saw her trying to step between the rollers. Supervision definitely should have been there.

There was a lake water park in Lima Ohio that had a slide like that. If you didn't let go, it would skip you across the water right toward a jagged rock wall. Awesome fun.

Schlitterbahn in Texas used to have these back in the 80's and 90's. The ride went off the roof of a building. I think it was called the Schlitter Coaster

I have been on this! I was not told to let go. I just learnt that now 4 years later. I did not let go. And went over the water, over the landing, over some grass and into a fence.

That's nothing compared to Action Park in NJ when I was a kid. You never left without scrapes, bruises and cuts. We loved it. It was the 70s. (Insane place. I think they made a doc about it).

Omg, that Waterpark is my childhood!
It is located just outside Milano and the name should be acquatica park.
I still remember the long queue for that slide and how heavy were those boards for child me.
You just bring me back so many bood memories TYYY

I went on this in Turkey or Spain (Don't remember) about 20 years ago and I very vividly recall a teenage kid going ALL the way across the water, hit the ramp at the end and even skidded about 20 feet across the concrete until he hit the queue line 😂 Everybody was so impressed and we all laughed. Dude never even came off the board the entire time 😅
