52:49 Ray Charles gave us so much. He was such a great man of music: singer, musician, composer and band arranger. Ray even gives us some of Beethoven's "Fur Elise" . translation from German to english is For Elise . " Elise Barensfeld, A German soprano and friend of Beethoven. Musicologist Rita Steblin claimed Beethoven dedicated the piece to Barensfeld ". Others say it was dedicated to " Therese Malfatti, A woman who Beethoven was in love with and proposed to in 1810. She was also the owner of the manuscript."

At 15:55 you get a taste of Ray the bandleader. A demanding taskmaster with the keenest ear,   just like James Brown. He knew exactly what he wanted and HIS orchestra was HIS instrument. The soundboard operator probably felt like crap being chastised on stage during Georgia On My Mind.

That he could afford a band that big back in the day really says something.

Thanks for posting! I've never heard this one and I've heard quite a few with the "70's" orchestra.
