Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. It consists of nine classes, Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, and Spy, and two teams, Red and Blu. The teams try to take the others' objective, such as an intelligence brief case, or a control point.

What I said a few times at this point.
Valve is the embodiment of a gifted child with ADHD - will start doing one thing almost perfectly and then all of the sudden leave it aside unfinished because they found something more interesting to them at the moment and never really come back.

Honestly, it might be better that they make something good, and don't tamper with it more, because at least they are remembered fondly instead of having their memories soured by bad sequals or endless remakes, or worse.

I recently started playing tf2 and I love it, but the thought that a lot of other players would leave the game because of the bot problem scares me. I really hope that community will live forever

Tf2 was released in 2007. They are pretty much the only competitor to oculus/meta, they just released the steam deck, people expect them to release new games. Valve is way too busy to worry about updating a game from 2007, they expect that if the tf2 community really cares about their game they'll fix it themselves through stuff like tf2 classic and community servers and to be honest they're kind of right.
