Tutorial for beginners - how to use Tamiya Weathering Master.

Tamiya Weathering Master sets that are specially designed for adding realistic weathering effects to your scale models.

Each set contains 3 colors and can be easily applied directly on top of painted model to achieve dirt, snow, soot or rust-like finish.

Easy-to-control material will not run into surrounding areas, and requires no thinner, making it perfect for beginners. Semi-wet compound adheres well to surfaces.

Use sponge tip to smear “snow” or “soot” onto model surfaces. Use brush tip to brush powder onto model. Use this method on recessed areas to achieve realistic effect of dirt or dust having accumulated.

Wipe off both ends of applicator tool with a dry cloth after use. Rinse well after press washing with mild detergent and lukewarm water for more effective clean. Dry tool thoroughly after cleaning.

Great tutorial. Short, sweet, to the point.

I have the entire set and love them. I use them on every build.

I spent just under an hour weathering my apache build with this. Then I airbrushed water based matt acrylic clear coat to preserve. When the clear coat dried, the weathering I spent hour has dissolved and disappeared 🙃 did it all over again.

Very nice tutorial. I have all the sets and use them regularly on my kits together with other tools like AK weathering pencils or various enamel washes.

How to rewet or rejuvenate the palette? Mine seems to have dried up that the sponge or brush can't pick up any pigment. I've tried water, alcohol but none seem to work.

Do you need pigment fixer for this or does it stay on the model?

I really wanna try getting into gunpla and doing weathering effects. Does the weathering powder last long or do i need to apply some sort of top coat when i'm done to make sure it doesn't dissolve/come off?

В кратце говоря, как тени жены использовать в моделизме ))) а по финалу лаком вскрывать нужно?

Based on the cost, the affect is not worth the investment, there are plenty of old school techniques that last longer and are not as tedious to work with.
