I prefer the liquid mask for adding chipping - more controlled application and effect is very realistic. Really, though, you can use both this and the hairspray technique together for best results. And one tip, use a rubber glove on your hand (like ones used for washing dishes) to remove the liquid mask - the glove is thick and won't tear, the rubber easily grips the lm and you can easily vary the pressure you use 👍

I tried this method and I really liked the results. I didn't even have to take pictures of where the silver was to remember. I wonder if I could use 2 colors. Like silver then yellow.

I’d like to try this technique. So, you apply the masking fluid with the sponge and let it dry. How long are you letting the masking fluid dry before you paint over it? Same question with the paint. How long before you take the paint off?

Does the 502 work with acrylic paint?
