Understanding VA Home Loans with David Piatek

This webinar is one of the requirements for earning NAR's Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification.

A local lender I often work with for VA loans has suggested we use the following verbiage when requesting closing costs from the seller: Seller to pay of buyer's closing costs, prepaids, and any other sales concessions as allowed by loan types as long as the amount does not exceed . (FYI: "Why should veterans use "THERE" VA loan?" "Why should veterans us "THEIR" VA loan?" This info was a great round up of the course and helped clarify some points and reinforced others. Greetings from South Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Miami) area - the slides need to be updated to reflect county borrowing limits for 2020 - they have changed. Also some proof-reading wouldn't go amiss (pealing paint, there vs. their, up font vs. up front). Lots of good information though. Thanks - having worked with many VA loans for my Coast Guard and other military clients - I still fund this useful - there's always more to learn. I'm now ready for my MRP certification. Thanks!
