It doesn't work I used the disable add feature as well as the demo three option and clear the cache and still I get ads on the home screen

Okay, except you still haven't show how to remove them. Cycling them just changes the format of the image, or you can cycle where the ads come from

It unfortunately seems like they’ve changed it so you can’t disable ads anymore, just change what server they use.

When I hit the play button for the first code Apple TV starts up. I can hit the play button anywhere in the menu and Apple TV starts up. I don’t know why.

What channels can I watch without ads ? On the roku channel it doesn't work. You do choose ads disabled ?

Thanks for the secrets menus. It worked with a Roku premier which has simple remote. But the adds are not disabled.
