ID theft leads to filing of fraudulent unemployment claims

The FBI has a new warning for people claiming unemployment benefits during the coronavirus pandemic. People are stealing the identities of others to file fraudulent unemployment claims, which is making the application process hard for people who live out-of-state and are entitled to benefits in Maryland.
