“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.

Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.

Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.

Welcome to the Young Nails family!

My hairdresser sent out a text after years of no price increase, saying that she was finally increasing her prices by $5. I was so happy for her. I’d been telling her over and over she needs to raise her prices.

Nails have really become expensive. I haven’t gotten my nails done in 3 years because it has become out of budget. I do my own nails now. But I get it. Its a luxury.

I just started taking my pricing seriously I always used to “hook my clients up “ with add ons and just charge the minimum when they would get tons of art but this year I told my self to charge accordingly and now it’s hard for me to remind my self because I started a bad habit . Also I’m increasing my prices $5 each year

I raised my prices $5.00 and lost two clients. I know I’ll get new people to replace them.

My nail tech charged 50$ for acrylic full sets with encapsulations and 3D and all of that. So when I went into a salon and I did all that on a client, they charged 175$ I was shocked. That was 4 years ago

I so love watching y'all! Not a nail artist, but maybe one day I will pursue it.

Y'all are so fun to watch and I hope your company continues to blow up!

I just started charging more and lost so many clients unfortunately, fortunately I’ve gained some new clients who appreciate my artwork and precision.

Count of 28, 000 in the Midwest Joe overlay runs anywhere from 25 to 35 and a regular polish is $20. Those prices do not do any kind of manicure and have to places don’t even push back cuticles.

Even if my service at a walk in salon (that’s on every corner) was under 70-75 I still tipped and brought it to that price if they were professional

It doesn’t take more time to put a different polish on a nail so I’ve never understood justifying the additional $5 per color. I.E. ring finger a different color.

What about small town, where people don’t have a lot of money. To charge $70 and more….. ? Big city ok.

You should come kick some asses here in Portugal since the average here is about 25€ for a gel maintenance 🥲 this is so sad. No one is calculating their prices fair.
