Star Wars Adventures #18 showed us how Han Solo lost the Millennium Falcon to Ducain, an event he mentioned in The Force Awakens.

I have mixed feelings about the story but find it funny how in ANH Luke calls the Falcon a piece of junk and people keep stealing it after ROTJ and into TFA.

They also mentioned it in the *Smugglers Guide's vault* . And I imagined it as the falcon being unintended in an open roof hanger and he just stole it when Han and Chewie's back was turned.

Really wish this was told in a regular comic line. Not adventures. It’d be nice if they just made a general canon for everyone consisting of novels and the marvel comics instead of splitting it up into age. These more significant mentions shouldn’t be in a series meant for children who might not have even noticed a throwaway line like that. (Though stories for children with the same favorite characters should still be told. Just don’t make it canon.)

Good video. Yeah the Adventures comics and the little cartoon shorts are for kids despite what the complainers say, and they are meant to teach younger kids the value of doing the right thing in life. Problem is the adults around them are teaching them the exact opposite.

I expect ducain to be a crime boss that took the falcon from Han as compensation after he botched a job, then the Irving boys to be carefree kids who stole ships for the rush of it .

I hope that once Episode 9 is out we'l begin to have the gaps between 6 and 7 filled in with other things besides kid's comics, like more novels. It would be great to have the full story of how the Falcon ended up on Jakku, and what Han was going through that whole time.

I have not read the story but from the way you told it, maybe Han gave a little too much trust to Ducain because he saw the makes of a young Luke (like when he first met him from A New Hope). Someone that would do great things for the galaxy too if they followed the same path.

Wow. From "Not a scratch" with a raised finger to Lando, to, "hey I can trust you right?" The only person to get Han Solo right outside of George Lucas is Tim Zahn. Yeah I get it's for kids, but I wish the story group flew more casual.

I like this story. Some young hotshot just took the Falcon. Not everything in Star Wars needs to be imbedded with the 7-layer dip of epicness. Sometimes Bantha poodoo happens.
