I am a homeschooling mom and this year we're doing cooking class via YouTube and I was telling my children I love your way of teaching. That being said, we will be trying a lot of your recipes. This one will be the first one. I will let you know how it goes. God Bless!!

I can't help but notice the shelves to the left & how you stacked your ceramic cast iron pans with their lids- all on there. That is brilliant.

I actually made these, and added some diced roma tomato in there...substituted the hash browns for shredded potatoes cause its less expensive to do, and changed out the cheddar for gouda and mozz mixed---I can honestly say, this is my go to breakfast! Totally agree with the toast on the side. NOTHING LIKE THIS! CHEAP, EASY breakfast and even in this economy, its a winner!

I bought a 6 jumbo muffin pan to make chicken pot pies last year. I rarely make jumbo muffins and was wondering what else to do with it. Then I stumbled across this recipe.
I've seen your recipe demonstrations for years and they are all fantastic! I'm surprised I missed this one, but I'm glad YouTube showed it to me. This is kind of like a breakfast pot pie and it is fabulous. So versatile! You do such a good job of explaining the basics while leaving room for experimentation. I can't believe I never thought to try a hash brown cup with filling. Thank you so much!

I've tried a lot of recipes I learned from YouTube during this pandemic. I'm American, & I also enjoy listening to the various accents. Love listening to our friends from the north. Thanks!

Thank you. I do love the way you talk about the measurements as you cook. I have found a few cooking shows on line lately and I must say I do enjoy yours the most so far. I am 71 now and I still love to cook.

I really appreciate some of the higher teaching techniques used here. The poster frequently says, "You can use more or less", "as much or as little" or "you can use something else" and so forth. Many cooking students get caught up with the fear of precise measurements and precise ingredients, and the poster's choice of words lessens the anxiety - it also encourages creativity. She also uses terms like, "...so that was easy" which also reassures cooking students. Her use of repetition reinforces the material, and her conversational tone avoids the "I'm the expert" mistake that so many cooking videos have. Many cooking videos have (often unintentionally but not always) a narcissistic tone. Placing a student in the position of being inferior in the process starts them with the mindset that "I can't do this." This video avoids SO many pitfalls that I see in so many cooking videos. I lecture doctoral and masters level students (in a different field) and would use this video (with proper attribution) to point out the excellent instructional methodology. And yes, I tried the recipe and it was delicious! So glad I saw this video! (Edit: I should also point out how pleasant it is not to have distracting background music!)

Also, adding a tiny sprinkle of both very red paprika & dried parsley on top looks really great. Yes, a toast side, or something toasted, is a must! And some cantalope slices, or a few fresh strawberries etc for "dessert, " + some juice (I like tomato with this especially).

I printed this recipe off and will be making it for my sisters when they visit in a couple of weeks. These served with toast of course and a nice fruit salad will be a great breakfast! Thanks for all the great tutorials!!

The possibilities seem endless as to what we could put into a hash brown bowl... I think it could also be made like a pizza in a cup using the cup part as the crust... thank you for this simple idea with so many possibilities. Blessings 💜

Thank you for another amazing video. I love finding a good channel that has been going for awhile. It means that I have plenty of videos to binge watch. I lost my precious mum to cancer on boxing day 2020 and I know that YouTube may provide answers for any question I may of asked Mum about. I hope all the people reading this stay strong, healthy and safe as we enter 2021.
