July 28, 2020 - Thank you. Your explanation was as clear as eight or 10 K video. No wonder I have so many adapters in my tech drawer. Thank you for clearing up some ongoing confusion. The one problem many folks have commented on is that the newer connectors are fragile. And have a high pin density.

AHA That makes so much more sense now with the DVI single link over the DVI dual link cables, that's why I couldn't gain anything over 1920*1200 resolution so DVI - Dual on my slower hardware and HDMI from now on my faster hardware !! excellent work @ PowerCert
