In ac unity from the cafe theatre arno makes 40, 000 livres an hour roughly 25 livre is worth 1 british pound 40, 000 x 25 = 1 million an hour x 15 ( the average amount of hours a cafe was open in france ) = 15 million a day x 365 is 5, 475, 000, 000 so arno might not have been the best assasin but my boy was stacked

Arno is very underrated and underappreciated.
Canonically, Arno is one of the best swordsmen of the French Assassins, and at several points in the story he is referred to as a "gifted Assassin." He can sneak in and out without ever getting detected, and has such a mastery over stealth that the Animus has to render him as one of the civilians in the area. He also went up against the full force of Sword Of Eden and several direct hits from it couldn't take him down (compare that to Elise who went down in one...Arno just got flung backwards). The Apple also is unable to hurt him, as is seen in the ending of Dead Kings. He can use the Apple without hurting himself, which shows he has both insane durability and willpower. And the Apple also couldn't corrupt him, seeing as even after everything he saw it best to send the Apple back to the Assassins. The only other character who has these characteristics i can think of is Altair.
I think the main problem with Arno was that they were unable to show true Arno in writing. The story failed him, not his character.

I also think most of these become popularity contests, as I feel like there's quite a bit of characters that can beat Ezio but Ezio always wins because he's the breadwinner of Assassin's Creed.

Good edit, but Ezio was already a beast by the time he was 17, and later knocked out 4 brutish soliders bare handed, meanwhile there's no bare handed option for Arno since he is meant for steatlh and tactics. If we're talking about Ezio after training with Mario, Ezio slams Mid-High Diff. If 17 year old Ezio, Arno wins Mid-High diff.
