Quite a responsibility for Curt but he sings it beautifully & what trust Roland had to hand over such a raw, personal song. I guess that shows the love & respect between two people who’ve known each other so long. It’s a lovely thing.

For me, this song is, as Roland said, "heart wrenching."
I relive the days that my mother was dying of cancer and there was nothing more we could do for her except wait.
But I love this song. It's almost cathartic listening to it. I feel like my mom is telling me to be happy even though I miss her with all of my being. The words are returned back to me to guide me on a better path through my struggle of pain and depression.

This is so beautiful, I love how at the end it sounds like the needle is stuck on the record, you've got to be a cetain age to appreciate that, luckily being 63 I'm from that time. Curt supplies a wonderful vocal on it. It reminds me so much of another of Roland's gems, the criminally neglected, Until I Drown, which only made it as a bonus track on Raoul, but for my money is the best thing on that extended album.

This truly is a heartbreaking song! One of my favorites from the new album. It's just SO sincere and presents a purity that most artists only dream of. I love the version where Roland sings the song. It had been floating around on the interwebs before the album's release. But Cut's voice, despite – or maybe BECAUSE – it's a tinsy bit brittle adds so much more value because he sounds way more pleading. Thank you for this song! ♥

Beautiful song, it would be so hard to sing live seeing that’s it’s so personal for Roland, but in the end could also be cathartic for him as well after what a horrific thing to witness seeing your partner go through every day
