I have seen a blind man situation; two opposing players rushed to cover the kid while the referee stopped the game.
The mask broke, and the band that held it to his face snapped.
We all escorted him to the rest area, and one guy even went to grab him a full helmet-style mask.
Blind man and fire on the field are the scariest things to hear in any outside match for me to hear.

Really do respect that no matter what goes on at these events, everyone is ready to step in for other people's safety

In Canada New Brunswick we use either "Blind Man" or "No Duff". At which point guns go to safe and/or take out your mags. Any known first responders and reffs congregate towards the source if need be.

In airsoft and paint ball if ur mask falls off people would start yelling to stop shooting and try to protect the guy even if it means talking them just so they don’t get there eye shot out

Has to do this for my girlfriend when she first played airsoft with me…some asshat sprayed her in the neck point blank and was suspected to be running hot and she had a panic attack from the pain in her neck and was trying to take her face protection off because she was hyperventilating…I had her crouch in a corner with me covering her body while the same guy was lighting my back and arms up “thinking we weren’t calling our shots” after a minute a couple people from both teams found me trying to calm her down and made a wall to block either of us from being hit then walked with us off the arena so she wouldn’t get peppered again…good people there and I miss going as much as I used to
