Copy, Paste or Edit of Cell Values with Filtered or Hidden Rows

Copying and pasting cell contents from one cell to another is usually a straight forward task. However when those cells are filtered or if you're dealing with hidden rows there might be some complications. In short you want to copy and paste when there are filters applied that make your cells hidden or non visible. This short video will cover some based workarounds (without any wild functions or formulas) to help with your hidden or skipped cells

great, but how can I permanently copy the values. Like I want to delete the column from where you take the value. (the pasted cell only show what is in the copied column, it don't have its own values. I want to delete the copied column and want the pasted values as its own values). Thank you for the answer.

Hi there! This is very helpful but is there any way to do this when the filtered cells have all different data? In your examples you are changing them all to the same date/same item name.. what if all the data you need to copy is different?

I noticed all videos show copying the same info..i dont see the cells having different info copied and pasted in filter cells. So if I copied 5 different cells and want to paste it in a filter spreadsheet, I cant. It only paste the first cell and the other cells dont appear.

Please help me I wanna paste my selected column to a filtered column. For example: i Have a column that has different kinds of names and i want it to be paste beside my filtered column so that each side corresponds to the name and if I unfiltered it, I want it to fit to their specific cells. Another example: i have a yellow marked cells and if i filtered out all the yellow cells, i want the names to be paste beside that filtered yellow mark so each yellow mark fits to their specific names.

It is not appearing completly every time I paste it beside the filtered section.The names wont come out completly or it appears half of the names i copied and if i unfiltered it the names are completly scattered inside the column and the names wont match to the cells or column that i wanted it to be. Please help me it will save me a lot of time and work.

I'm copying and pasting it manually for more than a thousand cells everyday and it is really time consuming and it is hurting my hands so bad.

It works but it does not alow me to edit text in pasted cells
