I feel for this young lady. I was kicked out of the home on my 16th birthday and beaten and mentally abused as a kid. Slept rough until I turned 17 then joined the army so I could have a roof over my head and 3 meals a day. 3 years in and I suffered a gunshot wound ending up with an amputation within 2 years thanks to the injury. I often wonder if I was not kicked out would my life be different than what it is today. Those who are laughing at this young lady should be ashamed of themselves and not be so judgemental before knowing all the facts.

I’m so heartbroken with a lot of these comments here. There’s soooo much more going on here in this video but all these people are focusing on is pointing out her flaws. Rather than pointing fingers and laughing, why not recognize her distress??? It’s quite obvious to me that there’s more to the story here!!

The daughter is clearly disturbed, and it’s totally not her doing. Her mother demeanour doesn’t show that she is innocent either, the father doesn’t seem to have a say in this. Dr Phil is biased towards the daughter and taking the mother’s side and not seeing the pain in daughters eyes, and even being sarcastic towards her.

I can tell something is really wrong with her but not only her.... her damn parents... they're laughing at her and so is everyone else. This girl is suffering big time. I wish I could give her a hug. I'm sure if someone gave her and soft hug, it would make her break down and cry

She says that kids “are innocent”. That’s true and that’s why they need at least one responsible parent who can properly take care of them morally, financially, and safely. This young lady is NOT a competent parent and her innocent child will suffer.
