i’m not being funny but this is absolutely abhorrent treatment. she’s obviously in psychosis or at least a delusional state and dr phil was full on prepared to talk to her as if she was rational. she was polite but just couldn’t separate delusion from reality. you can’t expect someone to just suddenly wake up from their mania and apologise after half an hour of talking to a professional. disgusting

Dr. Phil kicked her off the show for being disrespectful BUT I've seen people 1000 times worse that than she is and they were never kicked off the show. Didn't seem right to me.

Poor young woman has terrible understanding of the reasonable boundaries of others and so instead of modelling what respectful boundaries are, Dr. Phil treats her condescendingly like she has no right to any herself. The implication, that I’m sure she felt, is that she is damaged and unworthy. This was cringeworthy to watch. I’m guessing that Dr. Phil has an opinion on a diagnosis for her, likely BPD, and is stigmatizing her. She should benefit from appropriate mental health intervention. This is shaming her. This isn’t an interpersonal issue, it’s a mental health issue. Badly, badly done.

This girl always sticks out in my mind, Dr Phil is terrible the way he treated her knowing she was confused and had some severe hurts. I can’t get this out of my head. He needs to bring her back and publicly apologize for adding to her pain. I don’t care how many yrs it’s been. Bring her back and follow up, and man up too.

He says " you don't dictate who comes on my show" but you asked her to come to your show.... her agreement to come on the show was probably dependent on her mom not coming. He calls her manipulative, and this is from the most manipulative man in TV.

I love Dr Phil but WOW WHAT A JERK! I can’t believe he attacked her before she could even be interviewed. She’s young, first off and second of all she has imagined a relationship in her head, clearly showing she has issues. He wasted so much of what could have been a good show fluffing up his feathers. It’s so annoying when he does that!!!! I know every viewer feels the same way.

Wow...just wow. This is a prime example of you get what you pay for? This young lady will need years of additional therapy because of the treatment experienced on stage...and hopefully not from "Dr." Phil.
