artists should not be your political guides, you need to research the politicians and make educated choices by yourself - not have someone guide you through it. you need to sit down, look at their history, analyze their politics, look at their proposals and if you agree, and make the choice you feel is correct based on what you researched.
it shouldn’t matter if taylor swift or chappell roan are voting for the same person as you, if that discourages you from consuming their work then that’s okay, but their choice should not be the deciding factor on who you vote for.
